I’ve often be asked why I don’t use any oil in my cooking and is there any health benefits in using oil! The answer is, overall it’s fat and when you look at the contents of fat it’s fat. When look at 14 and 17 percent of olive oil is saturated,artery clogging fat, every bit as aggressive in promoting heart disease as saturated fat in roast beef! We live in a world that we have a choice in being healthy or not. We are very good at blaming others for our weight issues, but if we would just look in the mirror at our self, we would see the the blame. We all have the same choices in life, some good, some not so good! The food we consume is very additive and it’s like a drug or a sore it seems to get worse with time or as we get older. I’m convinced it the medicine that’s given to us to take because it’s our way of doing what feels good to us. The doctor said it, so it must be right! Remember when doctor’s said it was alright to smoke, that soon changed. When it comes to our health we must make sound choices in the foods, we select for our bodies to function.
