Alternative canccr treatmenta are for you ,if you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, the shocking news could send you into a state of panic because of the fear of the uncertain, even before death takes its toll. The news is just as devastating, however, to relatives, friends and anyone else in and outside the family circle. It strikes fear in just about everybody. Diagnosed with cancer, just the thought of hearing those word’s!
This year, 569,480 Americans are expected to be diagnosed with cancer and die from cancer in the United States, which accounts for one of every four deaths, according to the American Cancer Society’s cancer facts and figures for 2010. Has cancer become an epidemic? You be the judge. It is only second in death to heart disease, the top killer of Americans under the age of 85. It ahs been reported that 55 percent of all cancer patients use so form of alternative cancer treatment. when being a diagnosed with cancer you must understand that you are in control.
The real war on cancer began in 1971 when embattled president Richard Nixon appropriated $100 million to fund a cure for cancer. But the major pharmaceutical companies got the bulk of the money and still a cure wasn’t found. Those diagnosed with cancer has continued to ravage those who are affected and suffer from this medical malady.
Is chemotherapy the answer? According to an article in The New York Times (Sept. 30, 1994), chemotherapy has been a failure in waging a war on someone diagnosed with cancer and has led to an 8 percent increase in deaths. It tops heart disease as the No. 1 killer, the article reports.
The experts had also warned Congress that the war on cancer had stalled, and if changes were not implemented, there would be an ensuing epidemic. That epidemic could be at our doorstep any day now. Last year, one in eight Americans was diagnosed each day with cancer. When treated with chemotherapy, it did not work.
Why being diagnosed with cancer can be prevented
According to the healthcare industry, once a patient is diagnosed with cancer, the survival rate is a mere five years, but the industry itself grosses $50 billion annually in profit. It is grossly unfair, though, and a disservice to cancer suffers when the healthcare professionals try to justify the chemotherapy lifeline by using a five-year survival rate as a cancer cure rate.
Those who manage to live past that rate is considered a success by the pharmaceutical giants, and any death passed that point doesn’t really matter anymore. Why? Because your doctor is paid to enlist their cancer patients into a chemotherapy program, which encourages early diagnosis and ensure very expensive chemotherapy. The truth of the matter is, the drug survives and the patient dies miserably and slowly with pain. when diagnosed with cancer before being treated ask about it.
When treated with chemotherapy, cancer cells are killed along with the good cancer cells. Cancer is a disease characterized by the growth and spread of abnormal cells. If the spread is not controlled, it can result in death. It accounts for more deaths annually than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.
There are two very important components to understanding cancer: one deals with stress and the other deals with nutrition. There is mounting evidence that stress may be one of the major culprits that causes cancer cells to multiply. These findings confirm that the immune system is often suppressed in those people who choose, in some cases, not to change the negative conditions in their lives. Research conducted by the University of Pennsylvania shows that it is not stress per se that causes cancer to ravage the body, but more particularly the kind of stress that is perceived as inevitable and uncontrollable. It is likely to be the key factor in one’s vulnerability to cancer.
In his book, The China Study, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, PhD., states that a majority of cancer diseases is related to our diet of animal-based fat and protein. If we were to eat a plant-based diet, most all cancers would not have an opportunity to form or invade our bodies. There’s enough evidence that doctors should be discussing dietary changes as a potential path to cancer prevention and treatment, and if these were made possible.
According to Dr. Campbell, the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University and Project Director of the China-Oxford-Cornell Diet and Health Project, fewer than 500,000 people would go to the doctor’s office and be told they don’t have any form of cancer, such as breast, prostate or large bowel, if dietary changes are made.
So you might ask, “What is the solution?” Well, to curb the spread of cancer, there has to be a change to nutrition-based, plant-based diet. Cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence, but a systematic disease that needs to be addressed systematically when it comes to cancer treatments.
Educate yourself before making treatment choices rather than focus on the state of conventional cancer treatments. When diagnosed with cancer today’s patient needs to become educated about cancer and the treatment options available. Remember to eat your vegetables and drink plenty of water and live a stress-free life.
Whatever you decide do, do it under the care of a healthcare practitioner who supports your decision and respects it as well. Cancer patients deserve not only compassion, but also the freedom to choose nutritional chemotherapy as the first line of defense against cancer. There is an alternative to forced conventional cancer treatment. a diagnosed with cancer is not the end just the beginning of life. When reading the China Study you realize being diagnosed with cancer doesn’t have to occur.
When will you get started? When diagnosed with cancer remember to pray for direction.
